My wife and I recently had the pleasure of spending some time aboard the beautiful Vast Cat with Captain Scott and First Mate Vette. The Vast Cat is an awesome vessel, sleek and spacious yet cozy. She is well maintained, operated and kept with a lot of TLC. We had the best time relaxing while enjoying the scenery along with some tasty beverages, snacks and great company. It was a beautiful experience and we are looking forward to doing it again soon.

This Catamaran charter was a wonderful slice of “Caribbean Style” paradise right on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! Sailing towards the islands and seeing the Dolphins playing in the water was amazing!

From the time Yvette met us on the dock, to saying our goodbyes to Captains Scott and Chris, this was an incredible morning. Yvette first briefed us on the safety and wonderful amenities of the catamaran and then we set sail. My favorite spot was sitting at the table in the shade next to the air-conditioned parlor. Some of the other ladies enjoyed the sun on the bow of the boat. While enjoying a delicious charcuterie board and sipping champagne, the crew pointed out areas of interest during our sail. Our morning ride was smooth and comfortable, and we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the sparkling waters of the gulf. I can’t say enough about the crew who were so much fun and attentive to our every need. I highly recommend this wonderful experience.

Last October my husband and I had the opportunity to sail on a beautiful catamaran in Gulfport, MS. It was a windy day but I was determined to go out. The boat was clean and the captain and his first mate (wife) could not have been more hospitable. The cruise started with a boat tour including how to properly use the “head” then an extensive safety briefing which made me feel good. We motored out till we were able to actually sail. What a feeling. The captain let me take the helm as he stood next to me giving calm, detailed guidance. It was a thrill pushing through the water and feeling the power of the wind while being instructed to stay on course! My husband sat up front enjoying the moment whereas I enjoyed the thrill of the power of the wind. I would recommend anyone who loves the ocean to go for a cruise. Nothing but blue skies, good company and oh great snacks!!
